Name’s Gillian, like Jillian but with a G : )
I am 22 years old and I am currently an undergraduate student in my final year studying Community Health and Sustainability at UMass Lowell. While attending I became a resident advisor in the residence halls on campus and recently I was promoted to assistant resident director for two of the residence halls, very exciting!
Although school does take up a lot of my schedule, I love my downtime. I’m a camera junky, much to the dismay of my doting boyfriend Joe. I also love to bake, and I will forever try and find my perfect chocolate chip recipe. I am addicted to movies and books: you can find me pining in bookstores and on apple.com/trailer. I don’t drink coffee but I won’t say no to a short latte or chai tea every now and then. I extremely dislike pens and love getting new boxes of mechanical pencils every now and then. I try to buy locally where I can and love trying out homemade doohickeys.
Starting a blog has been something I’ve been mulling over for quite some time. I’m a busy bee kind of gal; I can’t help dipping my fingers in to different things! At the present, I plan on using this site as a means to yammer (not too long) about my little life and the areas that pop up as important or interesting to me. I hope that my friends and family that are gradually becoming more disbursed will find this a fun loving (and sometimes informative) place to kick back and giggle.
